Due to the overwhelming response to registration all 7 weeks of our Summer Camp Program are full.
Week 1: July 6-10 Journey through the Ages - $160.00 Full
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the past? Wish you could travel back in time? Well look no further as we build our very own time machine and experience various eras throughout history! Dinosaurs, Egyptians, Mummies, and more! We will be travelling to Citadel Hill this week to catch a glimpse of life back in the 1800s in Halifax. See what school would have been like, the activities children would have played, and the clothes they would have worn (you can even try them on if you like!). If that’s not enough, we will also be heading to Evergreen House to examine various historical artifacts that are sure to blow you away! There is no telling where our time machine will take us, so get ready for a thrilling ride that will be out of this world (or out of this time period, anyway!). We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 2: July 13- 17 Animal Adventures - $160.00 Full
Calling all animal lovers! We are dedicating an entire week to our furry, crawly, and feathery friends. Prepare to slither, crawl, gallop and pounce as we play a variety of animal themed games and activities this week. Join us as we travel to Cole Harbour Farm to meet a variety of farmyard animals, both big and small. Hope for Wildlife will be paying us a visit this week and will be a wonderful way for children to learn about local wildlife. Still can’t get enough? Grab your binoculars and as we hold our very own animal scavenger hunt around the Centre! With all of the many different animals we will be exploring, this is one adventure that is sure to make you roar! We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 3: July 20-July 24 Make a Splash - $160.00 Full
What’s NWCC summer camp without a heart pounding water week? Get ready to be drenched as we do anything and everything to do with water! We will be swimming as much as possible, tempting fate with water balloons, running through water streams, and enjoying various water related crafts and activities. Bring your bathing suit or prepare to get soaked as we go full out, rain or shine. This week is sure to be a splashtacular one as we head over to Captain William Spryfield Wave Pool for a water adventure full of slides, climbing walls, and of course waves! We will end with a water battle royale that is sure to cool you off! Let’s make a big splash! We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 4: July 27-July 31 Sports Spectacular - $160.00 Full
Time to get our heart rates up! Prepare for a week that is jam packed with your favourite physically active games. We will be bringing out the all-star in all of us as we work our bodies, challenge ourselves, and learn about the importance of being active in our lives! Come play soccer baseball, dodgeball, steal the bacon, and many other games throughout the week. If that’s not challenging enough, make sure you stretch before heading to the Omera Oval for some roller blading. We will also be heading to Hop! Skip! Jump! for a day full of ball pits, slides, climbing towers, and more. With this many gym activities, it is one week that is guaranteed to make you sweat! Are you up for the challenge? We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 5: Aug 4-Aug 7 Wacky Theme Week - $130.00 Full
Get ready to turn the ordinary upside down! This week is a full-on celebration of silliness, creativity, and imagination. Each day brings a new twist, encouraging campers to express themselves, try unexpected activities, and embrace the joy of being delightfully wacky!
Throughout the week, campers will dive into goofy games, offbeat challenges, and colorful crafts that spark laughter and teamwork. From mismatched outfits and backwards obstacle courses to zany science experiments, every moment is designed to surprise and delight. We will be heading to the Halifax Library for a silly backwards scavenger hunt and when we return, the Domino Man will be in the gym ready to thrill us with his domino toppling display and workshop. Expect the unexpected this week as we unleash our wacky side! We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 6: Aug 10-Aug 14 Ignite your Curiosity - $160.00 Full
Are you creative? Do you like to experiment with different elements and learn how the world works? Then grab your lab coat and goggles as we conduct wacky experiments and put our creativity to the test. It’s all about science this week, so be prepared to learn about chemistry, biology, and physics. We will be travelling to the Discovery Centre to check out some cool science exhibits that are sure to spark your curiosity. We will also be making our way to the Touch Tank to discover a world beneath the surface and experience marine life like never before. You will definitely need to put your thinking cap on as we participate in various activities that will stretch your scientific minds. We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday.
Week 7: Aug 7-Aug 21 The Big Wrap - $160.00 Full
Anything goes this week as we wrap up Summer Camp 2026! We will be doing games and activities that will make your heart soar! Are you a fan of indoor playgrounds? We will be heading to Jills World of Fun for a day full of tunnels, slides, and foam pits. How about ultimate dodgeball and cupcakes? Grab your best sneakers and join us as we head to the Omera Oval for some roller blading! We aren’t giving away all our surprises this week, but it’s guaranteed to be unforgettable! If that isn’t enough to pique your interest, we will be ending the last day of camp with a trip to MacDonald’s for lunch, face painting, and a jump tent to make you bounce for the rest of the day. We will have our regular activities such as swimming at the Zatzman Sportsplex, Bowling, visiting a local splash pad and making ice cream sundaes after lunch on Friday. Let’s make this the best last week of camp EVER!
