NWCC Top Hats and Roses Seniors' Club

Looking for a great fitness program for seniors? This program is low impact in nature and an excellent venue for those who have a balance or coordination issue. There are specific exercises for anyone suffering from arthritis. Various types of equipment are used and provided such as tubing, balls and weights. Chairs will be provided for participants who find it difficult for some types of floor exercises to ensure they still benefit from the exercise. Every class ends with stretching, flexibility and relaxation exercises for the entire body. Exercise is done to music from the 50's- 80's. Fun is had by all and everyone is welcome. A schedule of the program is provided. Program runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Drop-in fee $5.00 or a punch card for 10 sessions for $40.00.

Pickleball (18+)

Pickleball is a unique paddle sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is a low impact sport that can be played at any pace. 

Recreational Pickleball:  This is a recreational program that runs 6 days a week Monday - Friday until June 30 from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm  This program is for players who  have some experience with the game and feel comfortable in their ability to play. Players can reserve a spot each day Monday - Friday by calling the Centre after 9:00 am.  Court is limited to 12 players. Once the 12 spots have been filled the court will be closed that day for others. This program is for participants to get together with others to enjoy a fun afternoon of pickleball. Drop-in fee $3.00. Punch card of 20 punches will be available for $20.00.
Age: 18+

Seniors Washer Toss Social

Beat the winter blues with your favourite summertime game of washer toss! This weekly social combines friendly competition with time to unwind once the games have concluded. A light lunch is provided, which includes sandwiches, tea, coffee and sweets.
There is no registration required; simply bring comfortable sneakers and two tonnies!

Date: Tuesday Feb 7th-April 25th
Time: 11:00 am- 1:00 pm
Cost: $4:00 per participant


Youth Night

 Every Friday night the Centre has two rooms open just for you!. This drop-in is free and is for ages 8-12 years. Come out and play your favourite video games, ping pong, board games, air hockey and much more with your friends and meet new friends. Show your musical skills with  Rock Band and Karaoke. The will be dodgeball in the gym on designated nights. Come  and enjoy a fun night out! 
Start: Friday January 20 - April 21, 2017  no drop-in March 17 or April 14.
Time: 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Cost:  Free
