the ancient rites of the oldest dance.
Belly dance is an exciting and low impact way to exercise, suitable for all body
types, ages and sizes for men as well as women. Bernadette has almost 30 yrs of experience. She is the founder
of Genies of the Mist and Director and Choreographer for Belly Dance! Basics and Beyond.

Top Hats and Roses
A new fitness
program for seniors started last month. It is low impact in nature and an excellent venue for those who have a balance
or co-ordination issue. There are specific exercises for anyone suffering from arthritis. Every class ends
with stretching, flexibility
and relaxation
exercise for the entire body. Exercise is done to music from the 50's & 60'sand
fun is had by all. Everyone is welcome!

Women's Awareness Survival Program is an exciting new self-defence workshop for women built on RSAD, TACT, Ju-Jitsu and Bully
Proof taught by Johanne Connolly and Frank Zinck.
Bully Proof - Bully Proof is assertiveness training for elementary
school aged kids. It's a two and a half hour workshop designed to teach kids how to walk, talk, act and prepare a plan for
dealing with bullies.

VON Quilters
Tuesday Mornings from 9:30-12:00 noon at the NWCC, 230
Pleasant Street, Dartmouth. Experienced quilters wanted for creating charity quilts for the Victorian Order of Nurses. If
you would enjoy a morning out quilting with a friendly group of volunteer quilters every Tuesday morning, we would love to

The Down Home Fiddlers
Started in 1999, we meet weekly on Wednesday evenings
from 7-10 pm at the NWCC. On the second Wednesday of each month, the group plays for a senoirs dance at the Campbells
Senoir Citizens Club—All are welcome. The group has 30 plus musicians, comprised of mostly fiddlers. Guitar,
mandolin, banjo and keyboard players are encouraged to bring their instruments and provide backup. The group supports
a variety of causes and welcomes visitors to participate or just listen in. A small nominal fee per
person is charged per evening to pay for the facilities.

Golden Rule Dog Training
Golden Rule Dog Training runs both a General Obedience and Puppy Kindergarten Class at the North Woodside
Community Centre. Dogs learn how to reliably come when called, walk on a loose leash, stays, sits downs and much more. Classes
