Did You Know?  The North Woodside Community Association is registered as a charitable organization with Revenue Canada.  (# 139468342 RRP001)
 
Why Donate?  The NWCC is a non-profit organization who serves the community, and is constantly looking for ways to improve the greater area of North Woodside.
 
What Are Your Donations Used for?  All donations go towards helping support programming for children, youth & adults within the community.  New equipment is bought for program, gym equipment for the gym to be used by all our regular bookings.  Also proceeds go towards the Summer Camps run here at the centre, for children 5-8 and 9-12, as well as our special events held throughout the year, such as our Canada Day Event.
 
Is it a Tax Reciept?  All donations made, usually over the amount of $20.00 can be written off as a tax deduct.

Every year the North Woodside Community Association recieves tremendous support from the surrounding community including businesses, boards and committees, and groups within our Centre.

The Dartmouth Community Health Board have continued to support the North Woodside Community Association in helping promote a healthier community.  Funds over the years have helped develop brochures, newsletters, commercial fridge, basketball nets, and a new sound system.  We thank them for their generous and continued support.  It is appreciate by all who are have the opportunity to use their contributions on a daily basis here at the centre.
 
In November 2009 once again the Dartmouth Community Health Board supported our program "Capturing Our Commuinty".. With their funding we were able to purchase a new digital projector and camera.  Now all volunteers, staff and community members can be more connected to the many events and programs that the centre has to offer.
 
2007-2009
 
Reginald Jones, in memory of J.J. Jones, who has continually supported the centre through money donations towards our programming.  In J.J.'s name he gave a child an opportunity to participate in our Summer Camps by sponsoring them. 
 
2007
Coordinators/Lake City Swingers Square Dancing, who has annually made donations towards the centre and have always supported and participated in all events.
